Privacy Policy
PDFDock (pdfdock.app) is designed to process PDF files locally in your browser.
By default, files are not uploaded to a server and are not stored by PDFDock.
1. What we process
- Files you open: PDFs are processed in-memory in your browser to perform actions like merge, reorder, compress, and OCR.
- No server storage: PDFDock does not intentionally upload or store your PDF files on a server as part of normal operation.
2. Cookies / local storage
PDFDock may use local storage (not cookies) to remember UI preferences such as selected language and whether you dismissed informational notices. This storage is used only for essential UX and does not contain your PDF content.
3. Analytics
By default, PDFDock does not require analytics. If you later add analytics on your hosting, update this policy and provide any required consent banner.
4. Third-party libraries
PDFDock uses open-source libraries (e.g. PDF rendering and OCR) that run in your browser. Language data for OCR may be downloaded by your browser when you use OCR.
5. Contact
If you need a contact section here, add your email/address before going live.
